Klipza ("we", "the service") values user privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use our website and Chrome extension, how we process it, and your rights.

  • Download requests: The URL you paste is processed temporarily. Video content is not stored permanently on our servers.
  • IP address: Logged temporarily (typically 30 days) for error tracking, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.
  • Browser info (User-Agent): Stored for diagnostics.
  • Cookies: Only for language preference (NEXT_LOCALE) and admin sessions. No third-party tracking cookies are set by us.
  • Analytics: If enabled by the site owner, Google Analytics 4 is used (anonymous, IP-masked).

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide download and conversion services
  • To prevent abuse (spam, bots)
  • To analyze service quality (aggregate, anonymous statistics)
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We may have technical interactions with the following:

  • Google AdSense / Tag Manager: For ads (if enabled by the operator). You can manage personalization preferences at Google Ad Settings.
  • Source platforms (YouTube, TikTok etc.): Direct connection during download. Their privacy policies apply.

5. Chrome Extension

The extension uses these permissions:

  • activeTab: Reads the active tab's URL only when you click the extension icon.
  • contextMenus: Adds "Download with Klipza" to right-click menu.
  • clipboardRead: Reads clipboard only when you press the paste button.
  • content_scripts: Shows a download button on supported sites.No data is collected or transmitted.

The extension does not collect personal data, does not track your history, and does not send any data to third parties.

6. Copyright & Liability

Klipza is a technical tool only. Respecting the copyright of downloaded content is the user's responsibility. For commercial use or distribution, you must obtain permission from the rights holder.

7. GDPR Rights

You have the right to:

  • Know whether your data is being processed
  • Access your processed data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to processing
